Dismal desire.

I met a soul who interested me,
And kissed away my doubts you see.

He believed in us and that our souls would  rhyme,
And affirmed that'll be the case each time.

I held his hand and promised to be there,
To run my fingers through his ruffled hair.

He strives to make it for he knows I care,
I'm stuck in a time loop that ends nowhere.

I perched at a place where he doesn't remember me,
A dismal desire wails, that we are meant to be.

"Even if hope shatters, it rules when it was alive. And it's effect stays with us forever."
